Last Post :)

So, today was the day of actually putting the project together. I noticed that I was lacking in creativity when creating a prezi (since I took up on Alex's idea to start from a blank sheet), but after some looking around at other prezi's I found a way to convey ideas without a concerning amount of information in each slide. What we did need is to find great primary sources, but Sergio pulled through with amazing articles and excepts from speeches and letters that were sent throughout the war.
Now I need to begin to work on presenting it. I really wish I would have known exactly the details of presenting, as they were not given by Ms. Roy. Until today, I didnt know this was supposed to be presented but I found out after looking at the rubric. Knowing how much time we have would be a plus since everything would obviously be structured around that. We'll see, I might even ask Ms. Roy.

Well, thats it for now folks. Hope you enjoy the presentation when its all through with. I'll keep you posted after it is done and show my reflection of making the project.

  1. Your presentation will be between 5 and 10 minutes. So just as the last project be prepared to wrap your project short as it probably contains a great deal of information!

  2. I think its great that you were able to make sure there wasnt too much info on each slide, omar and i weren't so lucky. Do you have any suggestions as to how we would be able to cut info? For primary sources, i know you said you had some, but i would to suggest that you look at a leaflet written by Harry Truman to Japan, it helped omar and i when we talked about the atomic bomb and it might help you too.

    1. Yea it took us a couple tries. At first we had everything down but we erased it all. I feel as if one must refrain from having a very structured Prezi because it creates the need for alot of information. Instead of that, try a fuild presentation; which is what we went with. Thanks for the information, that was extremly helpful.

  3. Having not too much information on each slide actually makes your presentation more appealing. You must have no more than 30 words. Giving your presentation should be easier than making it; you're only giving a summary.
